Elaine Worchel has traveled and lived throughout the United States and the Philippine Islands during her husband's Air Force Career.

She began painting seriously forty years ago , although time was limited while raising her family.  Her first art classes began while living on Long Island, New York.  She went on to study with various professional artists in Alabama and Massachusetts.  She also studied at Manchester Institute of Art in New Hampshire.

Elaine lived and painted in the White Mountains of NH for 16 years where she maintained a studio in the hills of Lyman.  She enjoyed the abundant wildlife from her studio window and had a view of the mountains in the distance from her picturesque home.  This has given her a deep appreciation of nature.  She enjoys painting out of doors.  Elaine currently lives and paints at her home in Concord, NH.

She enjoys painting in acrylics.  She has painted the lakes and mountains of NH, the rocky coast of Maine and the Vermont hills and sugar houses.

Lobster traps and sugar buckets are as one on her art display.  Her personal loving reflections of the Northern New England States have rewarded her with Judged Awards, Peoples Choice Awards and Sponsored Awards.
